Expansion Gripper

An expansion gripper are manufactured to fit to an  end-of-arm tooling used in industrial automation and robotics for handling cylindrical or tubular objects, such as pipes, tubes, and other similar objects.

An expansion gripper typically consists of an expanding diaphragm,  set of jaws or fingers that can be expanded or contracted to grip the object securely. The fingers or jaws are designed to fit tightly inside or around the circumference of the object, creating a secure and stable grip.

Needle grippers can come in different designs, including parallel and angular grippers, and can be mounted on a EOAT for automated handling of small and delicate parts.

Our expansion grippers for EOAT include:

Secure and Reliable Gripping

Our expansion grippers are designed to provide a secure and reliable grip on a wide range of objects, including irregularly shaped or textured surfaces. This ensures that your assembly and packaging process can run smoothly and efficiently, with minimal risk of dropped or damaged parts.

Multiple Expansion Options

We offer a range of expansion options for our grippers, including diaphragm and bellows types, to accommodate a variety of part and component shapes and sizes. Our expansion grippers are also available in a range of sizes, to suit your specific needs.

Durable Construction

Our expansion grippers are made from high-quality materials, including anodized aluminium, to provide reliable performance in even the harshest manufacturing environments. We also offer grippers with corrosion-resistant coatings for use in harsh environments.

Customisation Options

We offer a range of customisation options for our expansion grippers, including grip force, expansion distance, and mounting options. This allows you to customise our grippers to meet the specific needs of your assembly and packaging process. .
