Expansion Gripper
An expansion gripper are manufactured to fit to an end-of-arm tooling used in industrial automation and robotics for handling cylindrical or tubular objects, such as pipes, tubes, and other similar objects.
An expansion gripper typically consists of an expanding diaphragm, set of jaws or fingers that can be expanded or contracted to grip the object securely. The fingers or jaws are designed to fit tightly inside or around the circumference of the object, creating a secure and stable grip.
Needle grippers can come in different designs, including parallel and angular grippers, and can be mounted on a EOAT for automated handling of small and delicate parts.
